Compliance training

Training your people finish.
A record that holds up.

Compliance training inside Compono Develop assigns learning by role, tracks currency and holds the evidence an auditor asks for, the way a compliance learning system should. It also assesses what the training built, so you can report capability rather than completion. If all you need is a catalogue of courses, buy a content library.

Completion on one axis, capability on the other

Learning run on Develop by administrators and learners alike

More than 3.5 million enrolments and over 400,000 assessments processed a week

Currency is tracked in a spreadsheet maintained by one person, and the list is accurate on the day it was last touched. The certificate that lapses next month has nobody chasing it, because nothing tells anyone it is coming.

The previous Aged Care Quality Standards were in effect between 1 July 2019 and 31 October 2025. The strengthened Standards that replaced them put workforce competence on the governing body.

Mandatory modules keep arriving and nobody owns the stack

Orientation here, safeguarding there, a new module when a rule changes. Each one is assigned by hand to a list that was current last quarter, and the follow-ups are done by email.

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission publishes required online training for workers, and every provider has to assign, track and refresh it alongside its own induction.

The evidence lives in three systems and one drawer

Completions in the learning system, certificates in a shared drive, in-person sign-offs on paper, and the roster in something else again. Assembling one worker's history takes an hour, and assembling a hundred takes a fortnight.

Time and wages records have to be kept for seven years under the Fair Work Act. The training evidence sitting behind them is the part nobody can produce quickly.

Everything a good system tracks.
And what only Compono finds.

Compono Assure

Competency management software for the part completion cannot prove

  • Like any competency softwareCertificates, licences and expiry dates on one register
  • And what only Compono findsCompetence proven against the standard, with a date

Assure keeps the register any competency system keeps: certificates, licences, role competencies and renewal dates in one place. Where the standard is competence rather than attendance, it also holds the framework, assesses against it and issues the credential, with item-level data and audit trails behind every result. It runs public-safety licensing for five Australian state governments, and VicRoads reported $34 million in operational savings from moving high-stakes assessment online.

Common questions

Yes. Compono Develop is a learning management system (LMS) that assigns compliance training by role or certification requirement, handles the follow-ups, records completions and assessment results together, and keeps recertification dates so an audit request takes minutes.

Either. Start with the off-the-shelf library of ready-to-deploy courses, bring your own documents, videos and materials, or build courses with the authoring tools. SCORM content comes across, so existing eLearning is not wasted.

Yes. Recurring completions are set up per course or certification, so when someone joins, moves role or is due for recertification the system assigns it and chases it. Certificates and clearances with a date on them are held as records against the person.

Yes. Assessments and quizzes sit inside the learning, in-person tasks can be signed off by an assessor, and the results are stored with the completion. Where competence is the standard rather than comprehension, Assure takes it further.

Managers and trainers get real-time dashboards, and stakeholders get automated reports on a schedule. Because completions, assessment results and expiry dates sit in one place, producing a worker's full history is a report rather than a project.

Develop is priced by size band like the rest of the platform. For a team under 100, one product is circa $5.5k to $6.5k AUD a year. From 100 to 500 people it runs circa $7k to $13k AUD a year depending on the band.

Develop delivers the training and evidences that it was completed and understood. Assure holds a competency framework and proves a person can perform against it, which is the standard in licensing and high-risk work. Plenty of organisations run both.

Head office is Brisbane, with offices in Christchurch, London and New York. Data is hosted in Australia and New Zealand wherever your team sits, and the platform is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, with single sign-on. A work health and safety induction is assigned the same way as statutory training in the United Kingdom, so a multi-country operation runs one record.
