For enterprise

Every system in place.
One read on your people.

Compono is enterprise HR software for organisations of 1,000 people and more. It does the process work your systems already do, and it finds what no employment record holds: fit against the role and the team, how each team behaves, capability you can prove with a date. If payroll is the job, keep your core system.

Four products, one read at scale

More than 3.5 million enrolments and over 400,000 assessments processed a week

$34 million in operational savings from digital licensing and assessment

400 stores across 9 countries, hiring to one standard

One learning platform used by administrators and learners across the group

How it shows up for enterprise

Five colleagues from different parts of a large organisation talking around a meeting room table

The same role, hired four different ways

One division writes its own interview questions, another runs a panel, a third buys an assessment, and the group standard sits in a policy nobody opens. Four business units fill the same job and none of them can show the next one why their hire worked.

71% of larger employers were recruiting in April 2026, against 40% of smaller ones, so at your size the inconsistency is running across dozens of roles at once.

An engagement score with no diagnosis under it

The annual survey lands, the group score moves a point, and every division gets a version of the same action plan. At this scale the number is an average of averages, and the division with a real problem disappears into it alongside the one carrying the business.

Engagement among managers fell from 27% to 22% in a year while individual contributors barely moved, and managers are how most people experience the employer.

Training records that prove attendance

Completion reports read high across the group and the capability question still cannot be answered. The learning system records who finished a module. The workforce plan names the skills the business needs in three years. Nothing joins the two, so nobody can say which one is right.

79% of Australian employers have a training plan and 65% have a workforce plan beyond 12 months, and only 20% say the two are integrated to a large extent.

Everything a good system tracks.
And what only Compono finds.

Compono Engage

An employee engagement platform that cuts below the group score

  • Like any engagement platformEngagement scores, response rates and trend lines by division
  • And what only Compono findsWhich division has the problem, and what the problem is

Engage runs the survey and reports the score, as any engagement platform does. Culture is then measured across 12 validated dimensions, current against desired, and cut by division, location, tenure and job level, with the work personalities already in the room underneath it. At this size that is the difference between a group average and a named division with a decision-making problem.

Compono Develop

A learning management system (LMS) that reports capability as well as completion

  • Like any LMSAssignment by role and group, completions and audit-ready records
  • And what only Compono findsCapability held across the group, and where it is thin

Develop assigns the induction, the compliance modules and the refreshers by role, group or business unit, tracks completion and keeps the record ready for whoever asks, which is the learning management system job. Assessment sits inside the pathway, so the record says what a person can now do. Roll that up and the group capability picture is evidence rather than a completion rate.

Compono Assure

Competency management software already running at public-safety scale

  • Like any competency softwareLicence numbers, certificates, registrations and expiry dates
  • And what only Compono findsCompetence proven against your framework, with a state and a date

Assure holds the register: licences, registrations and certificates on the person's record, with expiries that surface before they lapse. It also holds the framework, the assessment, the credentialling and the licensing. Five Australian state governments run public-safety licensing on it, carrying more than 3.5 million enrolments and over 400,000 assessments a week, so enterprise volume is not the risk in your project.

Bands are published by size and product, and every organisation in a band sees the same numbers. Above 1,000 people the structure decides the price, so talk to us about the business units and products in scope.

Common questions

Yes, with a boundary worth naming. Compono is not a human resources information system (HRIS) and does not run payroll. It is the hiring, culture, capability and competency layer, and at 1,000 people and up it usually runs beside the system of record you already have. Five Australian state governments run Assure at public-safety scale.

Beside it, and it replaces neither the employment record nor payroll. Your system of record holds contracts, leave and pay. Compono holds fit at hire, how each team works, capability held and competence proven. Single sign-on runs through your identity provider, and data integrations are scoped per customer during implementation. The partners page carries the current list.

Yes, and that is the usual way in at this size. A division, a region or a brand runs one product first on its own benchmark, and the group decides afterwards whether to extend it. Nothing has to be rebuilt when it does, because the same engine and the same benchmarks carry across.

Yes. Culture is measured across 12 validated dimensions, current against desired, and reported by division, location, tenure and job level. One instrument asked the same way everywhere is what makes two business units genuinely comparable, rather than two surveys and an argument about method.

Compono is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, and data is hosted in Australia and New Zealand wherever your team sits. Enterprise procurement asks for more than that. Send us your security questionnaire and the clauses you have to satisfy, and we will answer them line by line rather than in general terms.

It already does. The platform carries more than 3.5 million enrolments and processes over 400,000 assessments a week, including learner driver and motorcycle licensing across five Australian states. VicRoads reported $34 million in operational savings from moving high-stakes testing online. If your volume is a fraction of that, scale is not the risk in your project.

Bands are published by size and product, and every organisation in a band sees the same numbers. Above 1,000 people the structure matters more than the headcount, so the price follows the business units, the products and the integrations in scope. Tell us what is in scope and we will price it.

Four offices: Brisbane as head office, plus Christchurch, London and New York. Data is hosted in Australia and New Zealand wherever your team sits, and the platform is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified. Registration and licence records handle the local scheme in each market you operate in.

Talk to us about the standard you have to hold.

Tell us how many people you have, how many business units they sit in, and what the group currently cannot prove. We will show you which product closes that gap, with your numbers, and say plainly where the systems you already run are doing the job.
