As a Learning Management System, what we really like about the learning platform is that it’s easy to navigate and simple to use as both an administrator and learner.
The platform is really easy to use and was adaptable to our complicated model despite its simplicity. Really clean interface which learners and administrators appreciate. The support team is fast and committed in resolving issues, providing focused support where we have unique use cases. We are a charity and use the platform for online learning for thousands of learners across Queensland.
Compono was easy to set up, easy to use, easy to train others how to manage and makes training our staff a breeze. Support has been fantastic; there has never been an issue that Compono has not been able to resolve in a timely manner.
How it works.
1
Tell us what your LMS mainly carries
Onboarding and development, compliance training, or licensing and certification. It shapes your result and who we point you to.
2
Agree or disagree with twelve statements
Each scores 0, 2 or 5. Your area scores and overall score are percentages of the maximum, so every area counts the same way.
3

Most LMSs are systems of record. That's the problem.
They track completions and generate certificates, and they do it well. What they don't do is tell you who can actually do the job, where capability is thin, or whether any of the training changed anything.
That's people insight risk: the part the system leaves to you. This scorecard shows how much of it your LMS is leaving on your desk, and what to do about it first.
Common questions
-
What is an LMS evaluation scorecard?
A short, structured check of how well your learning management system supports your organisation. This one scores twelve statements across five areas and shows you where the gaps are.
-
How do I know if I need a new LMS?
Low scores on alignment, flexibility or data and insight usually mean the LMS is the limit, not your team. A low score on user experience alone can often be fixed without switching.
-
Is this a validated assessment?
No. It's a structured self-check, not a psychometric instrument. It shows you where to look first, based on your own view of your LMS. It isn't a verdict on your vendor.
-
Is this an LMS comparison?
No. It scores the LMS you have. If you want to compare platforms, start with our guide to the best Australian LMS platforms.
-
Is Compono an LMS?
Compono Develop is a learning management system built on behavioural science, inside the Compono platform. Compono Assure handles verified competency and certification for regulated roles.
