About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Yard Person to become part of our successful team.
What you will do:
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Pick and pack orders
- Deliveries and stock inventory
- Ensure materials are stored properly
- Move materials to and from storage areas, delivery vehicles, freight containers, by hand or using other equipment
- Keep all machinery and tools clean and in good working order for safe usage
- Report all issues regarding waste, damage, equipment or safety
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Current Forklift Licence (required)
- Construction Induction White Card (required)
- Current MR Truck licence (desirable)
- General computer skills
- Previous labouring experience
- Be able to lift up to 25kg
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and problem solve
- Demonstrate attention to detail, be punctual and reliable
- Have a positive attitude and take pride in your work
