About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced Producer to join our team.
What you will do:
- Hiring a team of creative professionals including Directors, Screenwriters, Cinematographers and cast members
- Sourcing and approving locations, studio hire and equipment
- Approving and overseeing production schedules and budgets
- Overseeing sales, marketing and distribution of media through third–party firms
- Having final say on creative direction of production (where applicable)
- Pitching creative ideas and securing financing for media production
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Tertiary qualification in Media
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Portfolio showcasing your work
- Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) membership
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal along with well-developed influencing and presentation techniques
- Be highly organised and motivated with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team
