About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our team.
What you will do:
- Partner with senior leadership to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate solutions in relation to organisational development, culture and change to deliver outcomes and manage issues
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business and strategic direction
- Undertake regular reviews of current HR policies and procedures to assess for efficiency, effectiveness and performance
- Leading the HR team and providing an escalation point
- Maintain HR compliance including with policies, Fair Work Act and modern awards
- Coordinate performance and development reviews and provide training to leaders on effective performance conversations
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a HR management role, with demonstrated skills as a HR generalist
- Ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of legislative frameworks – employment law, work health & safety and workplace equity and diversity
- Sound written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify and solve problems with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and with the entire organisational group
- Proficient knowledge and understanding in MS Office and HR applications
