About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our team.

What you will do: 

  • Conducting Risk/Hazard Management tasks, including Incident prevention & investigation, auditing and corrective action follow up 
  • Providing advice and education to managers and staff regarding safety practices and procedures 
  • Coordinating safety compliance activities and assisting with return-to-work programs 
  • Providing analytical reports to management on safety incidents and training requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:    

  • Qualification in Work Health & Safety 
  • Construction White Card
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Experienced with Work Health & Safety legislation 
  • Confident in providing advice, education & training on all aspects of safety and assist in competency assessment 
  • Zealous in approach to Safety – evidenced by actions and assertiveness 
  • Able to show previous success in transforming the workplace (i.e. ‘raising the bar’) in relation to safety and Continuous Improvement focus
