About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team.
What you will do:
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and legislation
- Monthly reporting to management including risk and safety status
- Reviewing current processes and driving continuous improvement, including WHS management system and WHS Management Plan
- Scheduling and coordination of safety training programs and annual Employee Health & Wellbeing Programs
- Lead safety committee and Health & Safety team
- Manage injury management programs and workers compensation
- Undertaking incident investigations and HSE workplace inspections
- Maintain and update WHS records
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Qualification in Work Health & Safety
- Construction White Card
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Experience supervising and evaluating the performance of a team to identify and facilitate appropriate training and development
- Certificate IV in training and Assessment (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
