About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly driven and experienced Head of Sales to join our team.
The primary purpose of this role is to achieve revenue and profit targets through the management of the existing sales team. The position is part of our Leadership Team and will be responsible for the sales strategy for the business.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement the company's sales strategy in line with the overall company Strategy and Budget
- Develop the sales team focused on delivering the required revenue and growth targets, by ensuring the team have all the necessary tools, resources and training to enable them to carry out the sales strategy
- Strategise with the Management Team about markets, prospects, profitability and the activities that generate new business
- Provide accurate and timely sales, revenue and profit forecasts
- Ensure sales policies, processes and procedures are designed, implemented and maintained
- Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times
- Participate in the continuous improvement of organisational processes
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Solid sales management experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage others
- Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills
- Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
- Experience with setting targets, performance plans and accountability for a sales team
- Results-driven with a commercial focus
- Growth mindset
