About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly dedicated Early Learning Centre Assistant Director to join our team.
What you will do:
- Supporting the Centre Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the centre
- Ensuring quality standards and Work Health & Safety requirements are met
- Being responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Maintaining administrative procedures including rosters, attendance records, payroll, and payments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant government regulations
- Recruiting, coordinating and supervising childcare staff
- Developing programs to grow the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of the children
- Communicating with parents and meeting their needs and expectations
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Prior experience in leadership, preferably within Early Childcare
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to supervise staff and provide training and feedback
- Effective interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
