About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Correctional Officer to become part of our team.
You will enforce rules and regulations, maintain the security of inmates, staff and facilities, and supervise daily activities.
What you will do:
- Maintaining order and ensuring rules are complied with
- Supporting rehabilitation and counselling of inmates
- Supervising the activity of inmates and report on conduct
- Searching inmates for illegal items or contraband
- Inspecting and maintaining safety and integrity of prison facilities
- Responding quickly to incidents
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and problem solve
- Demonstrate attention to detail, be punctual and reliable
