About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Builder to become part of our successful team.
What you will do:
- Produce cost estimates for projects, prepare construction contracts and apply building code standards
- Provide quotes for clients and submit plans to local authorities
- Organise contractors including carpenters, electricians and plumbers, as well as undertaking some building work personally
- Comply with strict safety regulations, including using and wearing protective equipment and ensuring the construction site is safe
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction
- Valid construction induction (white card)
- Current driver’s licence
- Experience and confidence in both building and installation
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and problem solve
- Demonstrate attention to detail, be punctual and reliable
- Have a positive attitude and take pride in your work
- Be quality driven and competent to complete jobs according to plans and specifications
